CRSI SIDING I WINDOWS | PAINTINGJust completed a Siding and Painting makeover on this home in Atlanta. In addition to installing a Vapor Barrier over Exterior Side Walls and installing HardiePlank Fiber Cement Siding, the Trim was replaced as needed on the Windows. To make the change even more dramatic, the Homeowner chose a stunning navy blue paint color for the new Siding. See the transformation in the pictures below:
Once again Matt and Joe worked in conjunction on this Home Improvement Project in Marietta. The Project commenced with Joe and the CRSI Window Crew replacing 9 Old Windows with New Simonton Energy Efficient Replacement Windows. This was followed by Matt’s Siding and Painting Crew replacing a good portion of the Old Cedar Siding with long lasting New Fiber Cement Siding. Once installed, the Crew replaced/ restored damaged wood, prepped the surfaces and applied multiple coats of paint with the dramatic change in Siding color.
For those who like the looks of wood siding and the low-maintenance qualities of man-made siding products, HardiPlank Siding (Fiber Cement Siding) can be a wise choice. This type of siding generally is more expensive than aluminum or vinyl siding, but costs less than brick or traditional cedar siding.
One of the big benefits over traditional wood siding is its resistance to damage from extended exposure to humidity, rain, snow, salt air and termites and under normal conditions, it will not crack, rot or delaminate. HardiePlank offers the durability and performance of concrete without sacrificing the natural beauty look of wood. While low-maintenance, new HardiPlank Siding does need to be primed and painted after installation by an experienced crew.
Matt and I are in the final stages of completing our home improvement project in Alpharetta. The HardiePlank Siding has been installed, prepped and painted. In addition to the new Siding, extensive repair and painting has been completed on other areas of the house (Trim, Doors, Screened Porch etc…) The Deck was pressure washed, stained and sealed according to the Project Specifications. The customer is happy with his choice of a siding and painting contractor in Atlanta.
Energy efficient Windows were installed and the Homeowner has qualified for a substantial Energy Tax Credit on their 2010 Tax Return. The next step is a thorough inspection of all the work performed and then a final walk-through with the Homeowner.

Joe and I have just started a home improvement project in Alpharetta. Joe will be overseeing the installation of HardiePlank Siding, Simonton Replacement Windows and the Seamless Aluminum Gutter System. I will oversee the Exterior and Interior Painting and Staining work.
We began the project with pressure washing, removal of the old Siding and extensive Wood Replacement and Restoration. Stay tuned for more as the Project unfolds.
